Further Things That Are Wrong (Part 2)

Was it the online application or the old form?

Old form. They had the birth cert.

They’ll barely have looked at the cert. The forms get scanned and the block capitals can be misread

Stupid cunts.

Outrageous

Ah FFS.

What’s the problem?

Have to send it back to get it corrected.

That and cunts that can’t check their work.

Would ye use it then send it back after?

Different name on the airline tickets.

I got sorted. They’re sending out a free post bag, have it tomorrow to send back. They’ll prioritise printing it properly on Monday.

And the poor fuckers involved in it will have to go to Ardkeen or Dublin because the emergency department is still shut.

Imagine being so far up your own hole, that you use the ‘definite article’ for your village’s name.

The GAA top brass saw the relatively positive reaction to County Boards streaming games during Covid and got the dollar signs in their eyes.

At a local level, people are happy to pay to watch games that they might not get a chance to see otherwise. At intercounty level, it has proven to be a spectacular misjudgement.

The lack of a Saturday Game highlights show is the real kick in the gut.

The top brass know that, unfortunately, people will still pay to watch their own team if they can’t actually go. (As much as people will still complain).

Maybe it’s just me but have watched a couple of the GAAGO games in different pubs and the picture has been very poor too. Watched Clare - Tipp in a pub in Thurles and the quality was very substandard.

It probably doesn’t come across great in Black and White

It’s a complete shambles.

I wonder will they release any viewing figures for GAAGo?

If RTE are involved could they be obtained by an FOI request?

Alan Dillon asked them about the GAAGO figures at the PAC meeting the other day, they said they’d ‘consider’ releasing the figures.

McBennett’s previous comments about it being commercially sensitive seem a load of tripe.
