I thought Cluxton was brilliant in both finals so don’t quibble with his nomination. I’d vote for O’Callaghan if I had a say in it.

Ryan didn’t kick one kick out out of 25 to a Dublin in the Final. Cluxton kicked two out of 23. Ryan made two saves and Cluxton saved 1.

Cluxton’s biggest contribution was not being caught coming off his line for the penalty save in the first game.

Cluxton should absolutely win an all star. And if they want to honour him as player of the decade or outstanding contribution to 5 in a row by nominating him for FOTY no problem. But Cluxton actually being awarded FOTY is like Dean Rock being awarded FOTY. In fact, at least Rock has a MOTM award to his name this year. (I think, Roscommon?)

It’s Con or Jack McCaffrey. And outside of that it’s Fenton, Mannion, McCarthy, Clifford and O’Sé. It’s not Cluxton or Rock.
