Well, somebody is paying to promote it. It’s very strange stuff altogether.

I’d even use a word massively overused in this parish to describe it. That word is fascinating.

Ryan didn’t kick one kick out out of 25 to a Dublin in the Final. Cluxton kicked two out of 23. Ryan made two saves and Cluxton saved 1.

Cluxton’s biggest contribution was not being caught coming off his line for the penalty save in the first game.

Ryan went really short with a huge percentage of his kick outs so that stat is misleading. Cluxton is way ahead of Ryan as a keeper but in fairness Ryan has come on a lot this year

Cluxton should absolutely win an all star. And if they want to honour him as player of the decade or outstanding contribution to 5 in a row by nominating him for FOTY no problem. Cluxton saved a pelanty, made a smashing save from Paul Murphy in tipping it onto the bar, struck a fantastic kick out to Howard which started off the move for the goal, made the crucial save from O’Brien at 1-15 to 0-15 in the replay. Ryan benefited in the drawn game from Dublin being down to 14 so he was able to get easy short kick outs away. Didn’t he hit a couple out for lineballs though? I’d say you’re the only person in the world who thinks Ryan was better than Cluxton over the two finals.
