9-1 iirc
stay well away from it, he’ll have his hand smashed to pieces first ball on 18th august
of course if you fired a hundred quid on cork -3 today you wouldnt be worrying about this …
The best Cork goalkeeper since Ger Cunningham.

If you read back this thread Mick youl see I supported your bet
And backed em minus four myself at 17/2. Only had a tenner on it though.
Wouldn’t touch Ryan at that price.
Which Ryan? The Dublin version will melt if Cork bring that tempo to Croker in 2 weeks. Galway’s zero marking policy suited him nicely.
Clare version is fav
Between 7-1 and 9-1. He was 7s when I backed him. He was 20/1 a few weeks back!
Nice bet.
When he was replaced against Cork I nearly tore up the docket. Long way to go yet. He’s not effective enough from play like Paul Ryan is.
Hurling top scorers before the Clare Galway game
Larkin - 50 points
Guiney - 46 points
P Ryan - 35 points
Shanahan - 32 points
C Ryan - 30 points
Colin Ryan has hit 4 frees so far, not unrealistic for him to hit another 5 or 6 in the 2nd half if Galway foul. He’s doing fuck all from play. Still has an outside shot I guess. Paul Ryan isn’t out of it either.
Where’d you get these stats Mac? Pp has Larkin on 51.
Took what gaa.ie had him on and added yesterday’s total. I may have missed a point so 51 is probably right.
Long term betting on the most unpredictable championship in years is tricky business.
I spent most of the second game yesterday willing Galway to foul in scoring positions.
FOUL HIM! … YES!!
So much so that I missed the fact that it was Colin Ryan that had a great goal chance early in the second half.
I just cashed out on the Top Scorer. That market may move as a result.
Chicken noises
I know.
But those odds look wrong to me. Colin Ryan has 11 points to make up on Larkin on a team that the bookies have as outsiders for their next game. He’s averaging 8 a game and the opposition is getting tougher. The guy with the points on the board should be shorter I think.

I’d agree, I just thought you’d appreciate having it done to you
You’ve obviously got more riding on it than I do so I’m happy to let it roll. My biggest worry with C Ryan is his tendency to drift out of games like he did against Cork.
Ive cashed out as well.

I did, it got a little chuckle when I saw it.
Was a great call all the same. A pity you were wearing your black and amber glasses for the other selections…
