GAA Betting 2013

It’s too low to be backing the unders, in my view. That total has been beaten in eight of the last 10 finals. Figure was in the 40s last year. Wd averaging 23 points over 6 games, Gy 19 over 2

I thought as much. They’ve gone first and priced it up before anyone else and built in an over-reaction to the unders always winning.

I’ve done the overs on 36.5 Mac.

Mac - You do know SeanieMac and Boylesports are one and the same?

Yep, did it hours ago. Have others priced it up?

Yep, same prices, different liabilities I believe. I can bet with seaniemac (for the moment) Boyles won’t let me have 20c on a 1/5 shot.

I see, they closed me after one bet, couldn’t even claim the free 20 quid sign up. Apollobet are another subsidiary of boyles, I lasted a good 5 or 6 bets there before it was game over.

They’re white labelling the front end to offer prices without managing the liability. Smart move but no doubt that certain customer info gets shared. Hadn’t heard of Apollobet. Check out betbright.com as well by the way.

Yeah I saw betbright for the first time on oddschecker yesterday, must sign up. Apollobet, unlike SeanieMac, were a firm before they went with Boyles so they have a different risk team, you’ll last longer there but as you say certain info is shared etc.

Just back Waterford at EVS with Boyles and have a nibble on the Waterford HT/FT at 12/5.

I think Waterford will win that minor too, thought i’d do better than evens though

Powers go 5/6,Evs is a cracking bet id have them 4/7 myself.

Galway will improve a lot, its no way a 4/7 bet

Waterford will score in around 2-16 Galway will get maybe 17 pts.

In the senior Cork HT/FT 15/8 looks tasty and Pat Horgan for MOTM is 9/1.

take a look at Galway in minor AI final and stop your nonsense

Cork -1 is 5/4 with PP.

Charge. That is all

As I thought, Powers have priced the line higher at 39.5. They’ll also give you 6/5 on 38 points or less, 5/1 on 39 or 40 and evens on 41 or more.

MOTM for the All Ireland Final lads, opinions?

I think Conor McGrath for Clare is great value at 16’s with PP, he will more than likely be on Cork’s weakest link in defense in Stephen McDonnell.

On the other hand, for Cork i think Luke O Farrell is worth a punt @ 20’s.

Honan and McGrath are both lethal players but are partially sacrificed playing in a two man inside line. They’ll be man marked and have an extra defender somewhere in front of them. Of the two, I think Honan might be more likely to make an impact, I don’t think O’Neill will handle Honan in the air.

Reckon Conlon would be a better bet for a Clare player, and I haven’t checked but might be better odds?
