Trying to have something on HOTY later today. Looking deeper in the pack for value.
Is Tony Browne the last player to win HOTY not to have played in that years final.
Shanahan
I was tempted by Rory Jacob to score more than 2.5 points at 11/8 with Paddy Power. It’s yet another fantastic day down here in Wexford and conditions will lend themselves to a decent score.
Past performance would indicate that it will be tight though.

Not just made the final. Last to not play for winners.
Only Shanahan and Browne have done that.
I’ve also had a wager on Harry Kehoe to score at least one point. He’s named at midfield but will probably spend some time at half forward. He gets off a couple of shots each game and tends to get at least one on target.
EDIT: For those of you that rely on my every utterance, it just occurred to me that Kehoe pulled his hamstring 3 weeks and probably won’t last the full game. I regret placing this bet now.
It is my understanding that Keaney will be playing in defence.
Like a defensive 3rd midfielder?
Warwickshire lead Longford 1-9 to 0-8 at half time.
Warwickshire home and dry, 2-15 0-10
First part of the treble home.
I heard centre back from a knowledgeable Dublin GAA man. But would they really take Rushe out of there and move him to wing back or midfield? That Boland bet was a great shout - he’s meant to be centre forward and will be on frees alright. That Conor McCormack lad is a likely full forward. Actually this post is complete speculation bar the Boland bit.
'Hon Donegal. Nicky Rackard Champions.
My fucking laptop crashed with the HOTY post 90% written.
