Galway SHC?

Please add your picks lads.
Those cunts De La Salle will win Waterford.

11/10.

@Bandage , who will win the Wexford SHC this year?

About right.

Clonlara/Cratloe for Clare SHC, I wouldn’t put them in an accum though.
Cratloe for the football is a good bet though, best team by a huge margin.

No one will come within 8 points of them in the knockout stages.

They are pretty much guaranteed to be in the semi final already with three rounds of the group stages still to play.

It looks like free money at the moment.

I fancy Celbridge to win the Kildare SFC this year, they’re 8/1 with PP. They have a very young side that is the first maturing wave of an astounding underage set-up. There’s a great spine of county players that wasn’t there before, Paddy Brophy, Ollie Lyons, Hugh McGrillen, Fergal Conway and Mick O’Grady. They’ll have the best defence in the competition, and have decent forwards to go with Brophy like David Hughes and Mark O’Sullivan. They negotiated a sticky first round tie against Naas, and could benefit from the most open SFC in a good few years. Moorefield still have the most depth, but were poor when drawing with Clane, and they’re a team that have been at the top for a while and are approaching a transitional phase. Sarsfields have the best mix of youth and experience but can be very flaky and they were very bad for periods against Leixlip. Athy will be gritty and tough to beat but will struggle to put up scores against teams in the top half of the senior ranks. So it’s there for Celbridge to win if they want to.

I’m out of the scene so you’ll get far more informed opinion than me but Ballyhale and especially James Stephens look too short in Kilkenny. Clara, the county champions, at 8-1, seems to be a value one point punt.
Hard to look past Kilcormac Killoughy in Offaly. I’m surprised Seir Kieran (Clareen) are priced as big as 16-1 as they’re possibly the second best team.
Rhode will probably win the football but 1-2 odds are ridiculous for a team beaten comfortably enough in last years final.

Drom/Inch will win the the Tipp Hurling Championship*
Arravale Rovers will win the football.

UCC will surely win Cork if they are still involved come September.

Newmarket will win Clare.

Surely Kilmallock will rattle NAP when it comes down to it?

Oulart will walk Wexford before beating Ballyhale Shamrocks and Mount Leinster Rangers and then losing to Camross in the Final on a shitty December Sunday before a heaving Nowlan Park.

*Unless Callinan gets injured.

Quite possibly true, but looking at Sars intermediates recently it is just plain wrong the pick Sars have available right now. The strength in depth they have is so strong.

Pass English for haryycarry

More like ‘‘pass that shit’’

Some of the Sars forward line can disappear in big games. Drom messed up big time last year and they know it. I would fancy Drom to beat Sars if they meet later in the year.

Really?
Drom are a serious outfit but Sars do hold a fair old hex over them. You could say also that Sars royally messed up last year & are probably going to be as driven to right a few wrongs.

Drom were the width of a post from beating Sars in the 2012 Co. Final.

Their record against Sars in the Mid Championship is reasonably solid.

Sars didn’t really mess up last year. Shur they hardly bothered to train for it. They might be driven this year than last year but that wouldn’t be hard.

Out of interest why?

The longer Clare go in the championship the more it will play into the likes of Sixmilebridge, Crusheen and Newmarket’s hands. Cratloe and Clonlara are the best two sides on paper but with so many lads tied up with the county set up it will count against them if we have another condensed championship
In Laois it will be between Borris/Kilcotton, Camross, Clough/Ballacolla and Rathdowney/Errill.

If pushed, I’d go for Clough/Ballacolla although I’d like to see BK do it. @Kid Curry might give an opinion though as I’m notoriously shit at this crack.
I’m crap at it too. CB should win it, they have the players.
