Clare worth a punt against Kerry +8 at 6/5?
Good league campaign, two championship games behind them, they are at home while Kerry are after a lengthy lay off and are missing James OâDonoghue.
Laois -4 at 11/10, Donegal -7 at 10/11 and Tipp +10 at evens also look appealing.
Avoid them, they ran out of steam against no less a team than Waterford in both matches. Iâd envisage us within 4 or 5 for long spells but we could conceded a bit late on. I expect cian o Neill to have kerry in fine order despite the injuries.
Fitness canât replace class.
But are you are suggesting they will just be too fit for Clare?
No I suggested kerry will be four or five points better generally and I would guess that their superior fitness will add 4 or 5 more to that in the closing stages.
As I said Clare completely ran out of steam in both matches against Waterford and from what I know and have seen of cian o Neill his teams tend to be in excellent shape.

An S&C coach is judged on injuries first. Does the fitness fit the game plan next. Get and keep the best players fit.
From memory he had no issues with Tipp injury wise. However he had some with Mayo, and a huge amount with Kerry. Maybe it has nothing to do with him, who knows really, but it doesnât look good in that sense.
He clearly is a good coach, but something is up there. And sometimes itâs the other coaching or being over ruled or player non-compliance.

They are all weak, Kev. Weak I tells ya.
1. Tipp -10 @ evens. Great bet, Cork not at full strength, will probably take 20-25 to get motoring with Tipp having a game already played. Tipp score well and are well conditioned. Even if they go behind theyâll play to the end and have good natural forwards. With an attacking cork half back line I think this is a no brainer, free money.
Tipp/Cork Half-time, full-time @ 8/1. For many of the same reasons above. I expect Tipp to be well in this game at half time. Worth a tenner.
Galway -4 @ 9/5. Canât see where Sligo are going, whereas I think Galway will surprise a few people this year and are on an upward curve. Galway scored better in a harder division in the league and have a game played.
Laois -4 @ 11/10. If you can get better on -5,-6. Iâd go for that. This is all PP had. No contest here. Physically and as scoring threats these teams are not matched.
some good calls thereâŚ
fookin laoisâŚ:rolleyes:

Some great calls here. Especially the HTFT.
Kudos.
