I always find it amusing that county boards and squads act surprised when this affects them every year.
They do know they have they power to object to this now? Like literally this exact moment?

Fancy Cork and Waterford to both cover the handicap today
I’m after going in on waterford u20 tonight v Limerick.
I just think Tipp were putrid v Limerick who spotted that ambush coming for all sorts of reasons.
Look, they definitely have some useful players like Casey, Lanigan, O Farrell is big and them Fitzgeralds are decent but it’s a 50/50 game every day of the week especially below in Waterford.
I think that scoreboard the last day didn’t do Waterford justice at all v Clare. Tobin will be a help when he starts, as will Cummins.
Waterford have beaten Limerick two of the last three years at minor including beating them well three years ago.
3 points on Waterford with PP @ 13/5 seems more than value in a 50/50 game.
Handicap of +4 a nice saver too
Realistically Waterford need some type of result, a small bet on the draw at 11:1 might be an angle to
enhance profit.
Ahh ffs, Waterford are some tulips there tonight. Conceded a sloppy goal and missed about 4 one on ones there at the end.
U17s chief
Nevermind - just realised they’re U20. Fuck em the choking fuckers
Gotta have a good chunk of Wicklow 11/8 at home to Tyrone in Christy Ring
Wicklow had an ok league, losing essentially a semi-final with Mayo
Tyrone a very very bad league, losing all matches and getting battered. Can’t imagine there’s any confidence/hope of a kick going into the Ring for them.
Small on Roscommon 11/2 away to Mayo Rackrd. Mayo did very well to win League (I had them or Wicklow winning it from the start). Roscommon had a decent league but had an extra week to prepare - Mayo had an extra match and it’s def not easy to get going again immediately. They’d have loved their opener to be against a weaker team for sure.

While I still think Wicklow will beat Tyrone, I would urge caution due to a long list of injuries.
Wouldn’t have been aware of a long list of injuries. Have already committed but would you think Tyrone as favs is fair? Rotten overnight trip too

Tyrone played a league up this year, so probably favs on merit. Their away form is poor though. A fully fit Wicklow and I’d be confident but they are gone very deep into the panel at the minute.
Not accepting that for Tyrone. They’ve been a higher league and a Christy Ring for a couple of years now. They were bad
I suppose bookies don’t have much to go on for this level, so league division might indeed play a part in their pricing
I’ve had a bad week with Waterford u20s and a few other things going against me like the Waterford seniors last 15 mins in both games costing me massive net difference. I’m sure if you look back on previous wins there was elements of luck thrown in.
I think I can break this duck with Offaly u20 hurlers -8 which is big bet territory for me again. This game is not knockout v Laois but it will save Offaly having to play in a prelim quarter final should they win. With so many players on the senior squad this is important.
On minor form, this is a repeat of the 2022 Leinster minor final that Offaly won comfortably enough in front of a massive crowd.
That Laois team defeated KK in the Leinster semi final but the unfortunate truth is that they haven’t pushed on like Offaly have.
Last year KK exacted revenge at u20 level when they beat them by 14, Offaly beat them by 1-28 to 2-9 in the knockout match.
This year they were beaten by 1-28 to 0-7 in a first round hammering to Galway. Even on the challenge match circuit prior to this championship they have struggled. Ger Quinlan and Cuddy at 6/sweeper are there senior players but not enough others have really pushed on compared to Offaly.
I didn’t see Galway v Offaly the 4-17 to 0-19 win for the tribesmen flattered Galway as Offaly gave away two soft goals and had some misses as per all the match reports out there. Screeney is named to start and they have other savage players in Shirley, Kavanagh, Rigney and Ravenhill. Caelem Larkin is another injury that returns.
I was going to go in on Offaly anything up to -15 so am absolutely delighted with the -8 BF have put up hence the bigger than usual points.
Rackard - 11/2 very small on Roscommon, but they’re +7 Handicap. I just don’t see Mayo blowing them away first match in off-the-back of only having the one weekend off matches, whereas Roscommon would’ve had a proper chance to reset.
I’d moreso be seeing Mayo by 3 or 4
Decent on the Roscommon +7
Huge price discrepancies in the other 20s game between Dublin & Wexford, Boyles have Dublin 4/9 Wexford 15/8 while Powers have them 4/5 Dublin & 6/5 Wexford. Great value in one of them if you fancy it.

Dublin would be my preference there. The only downside is David Purcell is not playing who is a loss.
Purcell is a big loss. I would be bullish on Dublin if he started. They lack a bit of quality up front now. Rowley is a big loss for Wex likewise, but I see Byrne named at 24.

They looked fierce badly conditioned against Galway. Like a group pulled together a week before.
Has Purcell been pulled because of Senior commitments or injury?
The word in Tipp is that O’Farrell and McCarthy are being pulled from the 20’s on Wednesday night which is an absolute joke in my opinion.
