The whole thing has lost a bit of momentum in recent years. Be interesting can it be reignited

At the end of the day, if you don’t border Tipperary, you have very little prospect of ever sustaining progress.

True for ya. They have Laois but there’s only so much we can do for them

I know the bookies do be usually fairly accurate on these handicaps but I can see Galway getting a comprehensive win over Offaly at the weekend.

I just wasn’t impressed with Offaly in the league final when I saw them in the flesh v Waterford and think they’ll eventually get a clipping along the line.
They would have expended huge amounts of energy in that narrow loss to Dublin.

Now Galway were crap last week but those first two goals were defendable. I don’t have the stats off hand but Galway generally hammer these tier 2/1.5 teams. I’ve 3 points on them -5 v Offaly.

I’d agree with you on Galway if this wasn’t the biggest home game for Offaly in the bones of a decade. Possibly more.

In the last few years they usually put up big scores against the antrims and westmeaths.

Is overall scoring diffference the tie breaker for three or more tied teams? That would be a big incentive for higher winning margins. Wexford, Galway and Dublin could easily end up on the same points.

Is it not like a mini league between those three teams?

I think Dublin over 1.5 goals At evens is a good bet would be worried bout Wexford full back line, Antrim missed a pen last week and few more goal chances

Saorise Bluffin on thin ice I hear. He won’t escape a 2nd coup

He shouldn’t have made it out of the league

The Charleville boys thought he was an awful bluffer last year
