Gaa Draw 2016

Grand so, seeing as you seem to be taking be seriously.

Do you think that the first proposal of mine would have made sense in 1990?

Also can you not see that your ideas for giving Ulster teams an advantage based on a perceived strengths takes from the ability of the other counties, currently struggling, to improve and compete on a stronger footing.

It shows they were relegated, of course.

Most people know that finishing in the bottom 2 of Div.1 in 2015 means you are a Div.2 team in 2016.
Seeing as we are discussing 2016 i think its wholly relevant.
Thanks.

Nope. My theory aims to override the imbalanced provincial system through the qualifiers. The teams from the weaker provinces have an easier path to the latter stages of the Championship. That will redress it and it’s fair on all teams involved.

4 teams from Ulster who play in the top two Divisions are guaranteed to go into the first round of the qualifiers.

After the result of the Championship draw last - 0 teams from the top two Divisions in Munster will enter the first round of the qualifiers.

Highly unlikely any team in Connacht from the top two Divisions will enter the first round of the qualifiers given both Roscommon and Mayo have Div 4 opposition?

You’ll probably have one team from the top two Divisions in Leinster in the first qualifier round.

There should be something there to redress that imbalance. Would you agree that is fair?

If we are discussing 2016 then why are you putting a 2015 table up?

Good or bad @glasagusban @Fagan_ODowd @myboyblue @carryharry :grinning:

Bad hurling, good football. How about yourself?

As Happy bud as i could be. Great draw for Clare in hurling

An evasive response.

Presuming Sidney is correct regarding the A/B qualifiers and Provincial Runners Up match ups, here is my predicted AI QF draw.

Don’t remember Dublin ever playing a football match in Nowlan Park.

In fact I don’t remember anybody ever playing a football match in Nowlan Park.

The match will be 10 years to the day since Dublin’s last championship match outside Croke Park.

Wexford hurlers play in Croke Park for the first time in eight years against Dublin, as I predicted they would on the Wexford GAA thread.

A disgrace. Wicklow and Laois should refuse that fixture.

Ciaran McManus broke his man of match crystal off wall of Nowlan Park dressing room after losing to Kildare some time ago

Was that Nowlan Park? Had remembered it as being in Conleths. That was my favourite ever post match interview. McManus kicked the crystal down the hall way as the interviewer was still throwing back to studio. It needs to be put on youtube immediately. He was immense that day.

Dead fucking right. And I 'll tell you whats even worse. Bringing a foreign game to that sacred turf. A thundering disgrace. Down with that sort of thing

It’ll be the about the second time in ten years that it will be full. It’s a cracking little stadium when filled to capacity

The other being Bruce Springsteen I presume?

I hope they checked that there isn’t due to be a Kilkenny Senior Club Hurling Championship game on that day.
