Pat Hoban is Mullinavat, they had James McGarry from Bennettsbridge over them previously as well. Neither club would have a particularly strong rivalry with the Shamrocks though.
Glenmore had a savage rivalry with them back in the 80s and 90s however, and the hangover from that may preclude them from appointing Mullally. On the other hand, pragmatism may dictate that they appoint the best candidate available regardless of club affiliation.
