GAA Managerial Merrygoround Thread

Ah lovely. Ciaran Carey as manager, Shane McGowan on stats, Joe McNally as dietician, Senan Connell as bus driver and Nick Leeson to write the cheques. I think Leeson has been writing the cheques for a while, now that I think about it.

You reckon Carey is up to the Galway job?

He’s too good for it.

Surprising no one else has snapped him up so

He’s contracted to Patrick’s Well.

What county teams has he managed

Ciaran wasn’t available to mange senior inter-county in previous years due to work / life … the man is ready and will do back to back with Galway.

Outsiders haven’t a great record in Galway ( Ger lock and Babs ) . Come to think of it native galweigans haven’t a great record either .

Time to disband galway

In 1998 a fella called Brian Cody hasn’t managed an inter county team . It didn’t turn out half bad

Ah god no ; they are great sport . Interesting to see what becomes on 3 in a row minors

Carey hasn’t ever managed an inter county side?

Which ones

Kerry . Them hoors are very hard to manage

he had Kerry didn’t he?

And he couldn’t win anything with a decade long conveyor belt of top underage talent - Carey actually has a title to his name as manager.

Carey broke the Croke Park hoodoo did he not?
