The noose tightens on Davy and Galway.

The process of appointing the next Kerry Senior Football Manager has commenced.

The Kerry GAA Management Committee has appointed the following sub-committee who will revert with a recommendation at the earliest opportunity.

Tim Murphy (Chairperson)

Eamon Whelan (Vice Chairperson)

Peter Twiss (Secretary)

John O’ Leary (Munster Council Delegate)

Donal Daly (Kerry Games Manager)

No further comment will be made until this process has concluded.

Does that mean Keane is gone?

Went up a mountain and not seen since

A slow and painful death

The term was up I think anyway.

Not necessarily, his contract is up so it had to be reviewed anyway, but sure he has to go really. Tis worse they are getting

Is he stubborn enough to put himself through the process after the past two years?

They have to get Donie Buckley back, irrespective of the manager.

Falling out with him was Keane’s biggest cock up and there was quite a few of them.

Quirke and Buckley are being brought in.

One to train and one to write about it. Who will manage?

They’re looking for him.

Jack O’Connor would be an upgrade and I imagine they’ll go back for him but his stint with Kildare seemed a complete waste of time for everybody.

What about yer man Sugrue who was in charge of Laois?

There’s no way they are that stupid

Laois has become a graveyard for Kerry managers of late

Billy Lee the obvious choice

Jimmy McGuinness wants it.

I don’t think the few years in Tralee IT will qualify him for naturalisation
