GAA Managerial Merrygoround Thread

As pitiful as scuttling off with your tail between your legs was and pretending to put me on ignore, it was still more honourable than just making stuff up.

That was hardly Cross in their pomp though? Didn’t they have a superb side in the late 90’s/early 00’s?

What night is the all-stars at 50 show on RTÉ? That should be good viewing I’d imagine.

I haven’t made up anything.

It’s not my problem if you have a problem with being called out as a filthy lowlife of a human being.

When you have a filthy scrote like @dodgy_keeper fellating you, it should be a bit of a giveaway as to what you are.

Head on away there now like a good ladeeen and laugh away to yerself at children being ill.

It’s a sorry reflection on you that you have to make stuff up like that. You are a nasty sort, but the fact you have to resort to that type ‘debating’ means you are pitiful rather than dangerous.
There are 20 teams in the Galway senior championship, and yet the current All-Ireland intermediate club champions are also from Galway. You haven’t a notion about club football or the strength of it, it’s no wonder nobody takes you seriously.

I didn’t make anything up.

Who the fook takes you seriously other than the circle jerk of self-hating, angry middle aged losers on here?

Nobody.

Somebody who laughs at children being hospitalised doesn’t get taken seriously.

Oh, and the notion that Corofin wouldn’t have had it harder in a better championship is as ludicrous as the notion that Kerry would still have 37 All-Irelands were they not in the procession that has been the Munster Championship for most of history.

Still making up stuff, just like making up that you were putting me on ignore. A sorry, sorry sort.
Give us a laugh and tell us where the better championships are. Where are these championships that Corofin would have got a better test in? Of the last 6 clubs to win the championship in Galway, 3 went on to win the All-Ireland and 1 of them was denied the chance to compete in the All-Ireland. 5 Galway clubs have also competed in the All-Ireland intermediate final, more than every other county other than Kerry who have their 9th best team compete, Galway have their 21st best team compete.

For a start:
Dublin
Mayo
Kerry
Tyrone
Kildare
Derry
Cork

All are better and more rounded championships.

Referencing teams from 2004 and 2006 as if it is relevant to 2015 to 2020 is laughable.

Corofin would have done extremely well to win one or two Dublin championships had they been in it in the 2015-2020 period.

To think otherwise is a level of contrarianism that is mind boggling.

Jesus that’s a terrible take.

I said to list the championships to give us a laugh, you have exceeded all expectations! A simply outstanding post for its comedy value, it will take something exceptional to beat it.

Fortunately for us the club championships don’t deal in such what if scenarios, but rather puts the winners from each county into a knockout competition whereby the best team is decided in a final, in which Corofin have performed better than most.

Football people (in Galway) always give out yards about the standard of the club football championship in Galway but in reality Galway clubs often do fairly well outside of Galway and that’s the only measurement you can go on. 6 senior All-Ireland’s from 3 different clubs since the turn of the century. 2 intermediate All-Ireland winners with 3 losing finalists. Without looking at the stats I’d say that’s well up there with any county.

I’d hazard a guess that only maybe Kerry have more as they tend to do well at intermediate and junior in large part due to how their own club championship is structured.

Corofin were poxed there’s no provincial champ and they got a bye into the semi final.

Why are ye attempting to debate with a sad case who just wants replies? He’s not acknowledging or addressing any points. Jesus lads are ye new here

Corofin aren’t a great club team

When Corofin were in their history making 3 in a row run they were given massive scares by Annaghdown, Mountbellew, Salthill and Tuam. When they were finally defeated it was Moycullen who went on to win the championship. The suggestion that there would have been 5 teams in another county that could give Corofin a game is complete fantasy stuff.

Indeed. This is perfectly illustrated by Corofin swatting aside Vincent’s in 2015

And yet you were unable to argue with the point.

Corofin most assuredly did not “swat” St. Vincent’s aside in 2015. It was a very close game and Corofin’s hunger was the deciding factor in the second half.

You have mistaken ‘unable’ with ‘unwilling’. If your post was for comedy value then I gave it the credit it deserved, if it really was a serious post then not replying to it gives it the credit it deserved.
