Former Kerry star Kieran Donaghy is set to be unveiled as the new manager of the Roscommon senior football squad.
He is set to replace Anthony Cunningham in the role.
Another former Kerry player, Paul Galvin, will be a member of his backroom team.

I think he was there during the 2015 championship. I’m going to say that was his first season so that would mean he has 8 seasons done and is heading into season 9. They’ve been onto something the last 2 or 3 years to be fair.
A feckin’ shame it’s only a wind-up. Donaghy and that headbanger Galvin in charge of the singularly minded Rossies would have been epic.

Someones getting sacked in the morning
You’d want to be taking over Roscommon in an even ending year so you get a Division 2 title out of it before the inevitable relegation from Div 1 the following season. They’re almost like Monaghan from a few years ago where they’re just desperate to play an All-Ireland semi-final because they’ve won the couple of provincial titles. Monaghan had a bit more ignorance about them though which made them a tough team to beat in Winter football.
Watch them fall and crumble next year.
