The lads that do be on the Twitter accounts have some way with words.

To finalise the coming year. Sure it hasn’t fucking started yet.

Maybe he was planning to do both?

Although bad form not to run it by both clubs first tbf.

John Doran is a mighty sound man, he won’t like this

Former Laois forward Leo Turley pulled the same stunt a number of years ago.
He had agreed to manage Offaly club Gracefield but left them in the lurch. For the life of me, I can’t remember who he had his head turned by.

Hardly Dempseys, didn’t he manage them for a bit? I know he was in Meath and Kildare too. Leo’s alright.

Flanagan doesn’t come cheap, Sars must have opened up a blank cheque.

I have it on good authority that Flanagan is highly pissed off with this in that while he had met Ballinabrackey officials, he had not confirmed he was taking the job.
He’s on a winner with The Sash. Haven’t reached even the semi-final for the past two years so an improvement on that is well within their capabilities.

He couldn’t be more of a shit show than last years bluffer

Who was there last year? Burke?

I reckon that’s the lad, give me his background? I got talking to a Sars lad at a go games blitz shortly after he got ran and he wasn’t very complimentary

Burke is ex Kildare under 20 and Wicklow manager. Now Roscommon manager. Think he was with Sarsfields this year.

Yep, that’s the one

Happy Christmas pal

100% agree with this.

How do you police that sure? If i take membership of a club can I be manager? If I get an address in a county can I be manager?

Who are Ballinabrackey anyway? Did they have a good crop come through recently or something? Never heard of them but they must be decent or have money behind them to be attracting a manager of Pat Flanagans renown in the first place.

Club - must be member for 3 years.
County - must have lived in county for 3 years.

Would it not be just the same rules as having to play for a club?

3 year residency rule

So I could play for a county/club but not manage? What stops me putting Jimmy the club man as manager and I go in as coach and run the show?
