GAA Rule Changes

When are these rules likely to come in (if they do)?

Articles say for the 2019 league, if accepted.

The inside mark, black card change and sideline kick change will get in.

Would have potential the slow down the game even more as there would be no real incentive for the keeper to take it quick, although it would make it more interesting once the ball is kicked.

Can’t change championship rules for a few years I believe, so only trial in the league

I wouldn’t be against making sliotars a little heavier too. And footballs a bit lighter.

How about a pitchfork through the footballs?

A net for points? Has to land in it so sky high efforts no good. But removes human error defined, oirish umpires

Makes sense. It’s hard to track the fast puck outs as you get older.

Why?

To get at us of course.

Stupid; the League is at the best it’s ever been now. This just kills all competitiveness.

Can’t have a competitive league and then a competitive league style championship though is the thinking of managers. The suggestion had been teams were looking to get relegated or not promoted so something needed to change.

The Dubs moved fast

Nobody cares.

i presume Dublin will be in both tiers?
