GAA Season Ticket

Big difference to Cooraclare’s pitch!
I was driving around that area in recent days. Wild it was to say the least

It’s always been a bit of a tradition to drag someone down to Cooraclare for the first IC game of the season. Good test of appetite

Cork should play their home league games in clonakilty and the likes far better off going where the interest is for the amount of away fans it might inconvenience

Clare often dragged Kerry for underage games to Cooraclare.
Clare dragged the Kerry seniors to Miltown one year. As you know, that didn’t end well.

For the Limerick Hurling ticket, the tickets for the Antrim game are showing as available soon.

Westmeath, Galway, Tipperary are all showing as general admission and can be redeemed now.

I was given a ticket in section 305 for the game vs Dublin in Croke Park.

For first round?

All round robin games

The GAA has confirmed that tickets for the 2024 All-Ireland hurling and football finals will be priced at €100 (stand) and €55 (terrace), an increase of €10 and €5 respectively on 2023 prices.

Ticket prices for quarter-finals and semi-finals will increase by €5.

In a statement Croke Park officials said: "This is the first increase to final ticket prices since 2019, and second in 14 years, and is part of a ticketing review which featured discounts during the Allianz Leagues, has seen new ‘3 for 2’ offers for All-Ireland series games and GAA membership discounts of €5 issued via Foireann for the Allianz League Finals and again for the upcoming football and hurling preliminary quarter-finals.

"Revenue generated from our fixtures will increase our club grants for the redevelopment of pitches and club facilities from €3m in 2023 to €4.5m in 2024 and allow the Association to commit to allocating €5m for club facilities in 2025.

As part of its redistribution model the GAA seeks to re-invest a minimum of 83% annually of its revenues generated back across its network in support of all its affiliated units. The additional ticket revenues generated will underpin a continued growth in our investment into Coaching and Games (€12m), Infrastructural Redevelopment of our County Grounds and Venues (€5m) and the continued capacity to assist club infrastructure through the GAA’s Club Development Fund Scheme."

Cork and Clare fans won’t mind paying the 100 this year in what should be a great final.

That’ll top up the €100 million they have in the bank nicely

Attendances down so lob on the cost from quarters on? Not great optics

Couldn’t give away all Ireland tickets recently so it seems an odd move but I guess somebody paid for them along the line.

Lost the minor game too which was always a factor in the ticket price surely.

All depends on what counties end up in the finals I guess but it’s plenty expensive.

The football will always sell out and the hurling will unless KK play Limerick this year or KK v Tipp other years.

It’s annoying to see another raise, once again season ticket holders or those that attend every game should get €10-€20 off.

This craic of getting €5 off using foireann membership is pure awkward.

Down in football. Well documented here that the football structure is horrible. Hurling keeping it going and is the poor relation in montrose and croke park

Attendances are up

I think @dodgy_keeper said it there should be a discount for anybody for the Munster final who attended four round robin games.

It is easy to say the tickets aren’t overly expensive but if you want Munster final tickets off the club or all Ireland tickets the majority will have to attend all 7 games and then you are talking a fair few quid.

Wonder will they ever look at bringing in tiered pricing that happens for other sporting events and concerts.

For an AI final - €120 for between both ‘45 yard lines for the lower and upper Hogan and Cusack. €100 for the remainder of the Hogan and Cusack and maybe €80 for the Davin. For the FA Cup final last weekend you’d three or four different pricing structures and a few quid off for OAP’s also.

The current system of someone in the corner of the upper Davin paying the same as someone perched on the half way line of the lower Cusack seems nonsensical.

€100 is still reasonable enough but adding a fiver to the terrace seems petty and downright stingy, €50 even would have been the common sense thing. Having the paw out for an extra fiver screams ‘miserable’.

Ultimately they know they have supporters by the balls as they know while people will grumble about it, they’ll still pay it if they’re lucky enough to see their team get to the final.

I wonder why there isn’t tiered pricing? Is it a work load issue or something like that? Possible you’d have to divide them up differently for clubs or something like that.
