Gaa split season, killing Meath football since 2011

He does. But itā€™s generally the same rough plan.

Heā€™s very raw still but Waterford badly need a bit of size and heft down the spine of the forward line.

Will he throw him in the FF line and rain ball down?

I donā€™t know about all the misery lads. Munster is going to be a rip roaring contest. Who are the two that donā€™t get out? I was saying Tipp and Waterford before the league. But Tipp look to be flying. Cork down a few bodies. Clare up a few bodies, but showed nothing in the league (probably planned). Waterford could be absolutely anything. Limerick look better than ever.
Iā€™d nearly switch to Cork and Waterford being the two. But fuck knows. Clare v Tipp is HUGE losers in major trouble

I think he could be a serious goal getter for ye. Highly impressive this year with UL.

God only knows. To be honest, Iā€™ve seen very little of Waterford this year. I had some health issues early in the New Year, now thankfully resolved so didnā€™t get to any league matches and havenā€™t followed it that closely.

Iā€™d like to have seen Mark Fitzgerald get a few run outs in the half forward line but Davy seems to have earmarked him in a real area of weakness for a few years now, as a corner back.

Dessie has regressed a lot since his debut season. For a fellow with his blinding space, he should have nothing on his mind most of the time other than goals. Heā€™s too happy to turn back inside all the time and go for a soft point though.

Iā€™m going to Ennis to support Tipp v the savages but Iā€™d say we will be outnumbered 5:1.

There seems to be no affinity for inter county hurling in Tipperary.

Glad to hear that is resolved auld stock. Davy requires buy in from everyone. Not sure Waterford were the team for him. Dublin would have been better I think. A lot of that Waterford team have seen to much to buy into Davy

I have a good bet on Tipp EW at 16/1. Itā€™s basically 5/1 to reach the final.

We are the best of the rest but 8 points behind the Limericks.

This too will pass. A win in Ennis and the bandwagon will be rolling. I donā€™t buy into home advantage much in hurling but Ennis is a bastard of a place to get a win.

Tipp fans are very fickle and the bandwagon support are so far removed from the sport currently.

The only thing that will renew that is a trip to Ryanā€™s and Croke park

Schedule could play a big part too, Clare have Cork & Tipp in Ennis which is an advantage, I think.

Also, Cork have Limerick last when Limerick could already be through.

Hard place to go. Very interesting match that.

Tipp being away from home in the first two games is a worry. Our recent record in Cork is ok but historically we struggle in PUC.

Ya Limerick have a nice draw this year. Home to Clare and Cork and Waterford neutral.

I cannot wait for Limerick v Clare. Saturday night of the bank holiday weekend with riverfest in full flow. Iā€™m going out out

The game v Clare is key. Whoever loses that is under serious pressure

Just from talking to a few people around the County at underage matches with the kids over last weeks, the vibes from the camp seem to be quite downbeat and not great. Thereā€™s a complete lack of hype for sure. Waterford donā€™t do hype well, so thatā€™s probably a positive in some ways.

Youā€™d imagine that Limerick will have advancement secured within 3 games like they have done in each of the previous 3 years of the round Robin. Thereā€™s 2 huge games over first two rounds, Clare v Tipperary and Cork v Waterford. The winners of both of those will be well placed to advance.

Itā€™s a relegation 4 pointer alright.

If you take it as read that Limerick will win all their games. Which is expected by most (but not in anyway guaranteed) then you really can only lose one other game and maybe not even. 4 points was not enough to get through in 2019
