Gaa split season, killing Meath football since 2011

It was the GAA’s decision with their split season, spring Championship to go head to head with the likes of the Women’s Rugby Six Nations Ireland v Scotland Wooden Spoon Decider. The rugby won hands down on both RTE television and radio.

Gaa Go is a disaster for us rural dwellers. Shit slow internet i have but Now Tv works perfect for Sky Sports. Tonight and last Sunday picture kept freezing with Gaa Go. Ill have to admit defeat and go to pub next week.

You fucking Fanny

GAAgo is not even that live. On Paddy Power App it was reading half time while there were still a minute and a half of playing time left on the GAAgo feed.

Mugs game

GAAGO has been an unmitigated disaster.

Going to a pub wouldnt be a silver bullet either, the internet in the pub could be just as shit.

I’d hate to be a publican with a big crowd in only for the stream to keep on freezing.

Michael Duignan and his father were ahead of the curve in highlighting the slippery slope the GAA were on.

Analogue television was where it was at.

Analogue radio is still where it’s at.

There are 2 pubs in our parish.

Both have the dodgy box/normal sky sports. It failed for one of them this evening.

My uncle would prob have went into the said pub to watch the game even though he’s a non drinker. He missed the game tonight.

GAA go is the right idea in some ways but the fact it’s not on the sky box or an App linked through the eye player means it’s a disaster.

Should have left it on Sky. At least you can stream games on Sky if you have to. I signed up for 3 games at 24 Euro. Won’t be signing up for anymore.

sky didnt want it

RTE don’t want it either during rugby season.

Not true, Sky wanted more games, Gaa said no. Sky walked.

Sonic The Hedgehog tonight on RTE & Paddington in the same slot next Saturday night during Tipp-Cork.

Sure mate

Bet you the kids are looking forward to next week already bless them. You wouldn’t force them to sit for 75 minutes of stick fighting with the odd moment of colourful rural yokels roaring profanities out of them.

There will be more hits in Paddington in fairness

Clare v Limerick June 4 2017, attendance 19,000
Clare v Limerick April 29 2023, attendance 30,000.
I thought the split season was ruining the Gaa? Attendances seem to be up.

Clare v Limerick 2022 had 43 thousand in thurles at it.

We’d the four all Ireland semi finalists from last year placing each other and 43 thousand turned up between the two games.

Clare v Limerick was hidden away on some app and nobody including myself even knew Kilkenny v Galway was on Sunday.

Wow Imagine what they’d get with better promotion
