Clare deserved to win and Galway were shit so have to be happy with that result. There’s obviously been a lost in translation incident with our Polish fitness coach. Once someone tells him hurling lasts longer than 15 minutes we’ll be ok. Probably a bit late for this year though.

I thought galway had no luck with the hawkeyes, got ridden by the ref in that their forwards were pulled dragged and mauled throughout, and got frees far far harder than the clare forwards, but, I thought clare played the more intelligent hurling, and really we were hanging on throughout, and clare deserved to win overall.
A great game. I was livid after, but I’m calm now, and clare were very good.

There is no luck with Hawkeye. That’s the whole point of it.

Hawkeye proved it’s worth today and should have gotten man of the match. At another ground Galway could have wrongly won the game by 3 or 4 points.
