I am not convinced re Kilkenny and pundits like John Mullane who are so hot about them winning the all Ireland
At the end of the day Kilkenny also won the league in 2013 and it didn’t amount to a hill of beans after in the championship. How are they better this year?
Rice, Shefflin and M Fennelly are struggling with injury like last year
Delaney, Tyrell, T Walsh, Shefflin, Larkin are a year older and in the veteran class
Power, Fennelly other younger lads couldn’t take over the mantle last year when bigger guns weren’t firing or injured
Ok they have some new players this year but they cant be much better than young players in wexford and Dublin judging by recent results in minor\21 in Leinster.
If Galway are pulling together rather than against each other surely they have a massive chance here?
Galway always have a massive chance against KK. Ask any KK person they will tell you they always fear Galway will maraud over those stone walls and wallop us.
I fear all those things you pointed out too plus Joe Canning has to be due a big game but I’m still kind of hoping…
I think Richie Power did well to keep us in the drawn Dublin game last year and it was Colin Fennelly and Richie Hogan who drove us over the line against Waterford

Ditto from Galway. Exactly that
Reporting live from O’Connor park… standing in the middle of a gang of wild inlanders as they ‘try’ to enjoy a club game… woeful sounds coming from them, unpronounceable war cries to someone reared near the coast.
This is bog country.
I am also glad to report that there are both Portumna and Thomases players emerging from the team bus… now obvious recent injuries either. This bodes well…
