Of course. Doesn’t make one bit of a difference to my post however.
@twiceasnice97 and @Kid Chocolate and their scoffing about Jonathan Glynn! He’d walk into the Clare team, Peter Duggan is a poor imitation. What was Cunningham thinking not starting him? His form has been excellent.
@caoimhaoin and @Turenne scoffing when I said Galway had as good forwards as Cork, or better. They need to bite the bullet and drop David Burke but otherwise that is a super group of forwards.
Canningesque goals from Cooney
I never scoffed at Glynn you ignoramus
Don’t agree. Real GAA men don’t give a fuck about tweets from UK. Joe.ie isn’t real GAA.
Same fuckers criticising GAA were reporting how the Polish loved the Irish fans ans weren’t we great to sing when being hammered at Euros.
If anything it is an Irish trait to need to be liked. That need to be liked does mean as a nation we are quite popular though. Annoying when microscope is put on it by lads with agendas who ignore they do the exact same shit.

Disagree all you like, its how it is. What is real GAA and real GAA men by the way?
Kks last 8 championship games
Beat Offaly
Drew Dublin
Lost Dublin
Beat Tipp
Drew Wat
Lost Cork
Beat Offaly
Drew Galway
Fear is long gone, times were they’d have 2 AIs won with 8 games played over 2 years
Agree with what you say. Especially in terms of this fascination of what the English think of hurling. I’ve said on here before but the assumption that people who’ve never seen hurling will automatically fall in love with the game, is completely overhyped. Hurling is a brilliant game in my opinion but to the uneducated eye it can seem very unstructured with no real tactics
Lads who go to games before a final and are members of a club.
What hullabaloo was there except for some shit on joe.ie and maybe Des Cahill
Nobody in a GAA club (real GAA) mentioned it.
That seems quite a loose description.
Added in and are members of a club. Loose description but accurate enough. Lads at the match today in Tullamore are not talking about twitter on the drive home
Missed the off the ball lads new show on rte 1. Was it any good?
Did one of the Sunday Game pundits have a dig at the World Cup after the game? Saw Daniel McDonnell on Twitter sneering at the insecurity of GAA folk. Hard to argue with him.
The hurling has been brilliant and so has the World Cup. Why use hurling as a stick to beat the soccer?
Don’t know Phil, was not watching.
Only caught the last twenty mins… watched it in the anchor Kilalloe, the whole pub was shouting for Galway. Came in to see KK score 1-8 and thought the old KK were back then boom…what a point from Joe at the end. Looking forward to the sunday game and a proper look at the goals …
Fuckin hell that was bad. We’re fucked. Two or three years ago, that game would have been put to bed. Instead, we get pegged back and now have to play a replay that we cannot afford.
Fuckin Galway though. McEvoy put it well on the examiner yesterday when he said that galway throw shapes against everybody else but against us, they land punches.
Cork, limerick or clare wont be worried about what they saw today.

Or Dublin.
Dudling are shit pal
feels like a win! high as fuck now. thats a pale shadow of a kilkenny team, but with michael fennelly and shefflin they’d be a lot harder beat. but that’ll bring us on huge amounts. jonny glynn was a beast, but mannion is years away from being up to this level, how david burke stayed on is a mystery. i thought tannian did ok he hurled a huge amount of ball and got in their faces. likewise daithi burke seems rock solid.all our backs can hurl, with glynn our forwards can win ball. smith was excellent like he always is, game passed brehony by but he’ll come good. we really struggled to score from play in the second half but we have another game against the best team in the country. we need to just disrupt richie hogan he does everything for them.
that fucking prick of a ref rode us, gave several frees for completely fair jostles and henry one for nothing whatsoever, at least he can’t get the replay. how long til it goes up on the RTE player?
edit: its up
Nay, Dublin will have a big say in All Ireland. They have perfected the sweeper system and all teams struggle against it. They are very strong from 5-12 and can physically overpower most teams here. Their system is design to put up 22+pts with their personnel from 5-12 well equipped at scoring from distance.
If they had one lethal inside forward as @Bisto alluded to previously they would take a hell of a lot of beating.
For me, they are easily the best outsiders for the Liam McCarthy.
Clare have nothing to fear from either of those two sides

Who are the insiders? Dudling will win fuck all pal, you’re blinded.
That was like Liverpool v Crystal Palace all over again. How the fuck did Glynn end up in acres of space in front of the goal like that for the penalty. That wouldnt happen to KK team of seasons past.
They looked home and hosed with 10 mins to go but couldn’t close it out.
They won’t win anything with Tyrell at CB and 2 forwards playing to any decent sort of standard.
Tommy Walsh coming on and playing well was a big plus, there’s definitely a big role there for him in future games.
Joe Canning manned up today, fair fucks to him

To be fair Smith could have been off at the start and the free that lead to Cooney’s goal was no free either.
A dire ref for both sides.
Is Tannian the best option at centre back? He tends to get pulled out of position when the blood rises in him, always thought he was better in midfield.
The replay will do Galway the world of good and this have just goes to show that there is very little between the top top eight teams in the country.
