Going by the bastion of reasonable reaction, social media commentary, o connors swing back was worse than all dublins indiscretions combined according to some. And some dublin lads on my Facebook feed think mcquillan rode them throughout! Doubt thereāll be any more citations, there was fuck all in the headbutt or feigning really. I suspect it could easily assist Galway alright, of course Kilkenny are used to it, so any build up wouldnt bother them, but the national media will be somewhat distracted by Connolly, McMahon and Coopers upcoming suspensions and appeals. Granted there will be local media to deal with, but thatāll be grand on the whole Iād imagine.

We couldnāt be considered favourites in any way, Kilkenny have won every game comfortably this year and are yet to be near peaking. But maybe the few tests we have had bring about the incremental improvement we need. Thing is in 2010, 2012 and last year Kilkenny were a bit flat on the first/only all ireland day. Way sharper in the replays, or the next time they played tipp. Staleness has to set in at some stage? Good week of build up ahead. Good night ireland.

Ive plenty of faith, i didnt believe we could win the semi until the ball crossed the bar, years of harrowing losses will do that. But in the five times id say ive watched it since the attitude of our lads was nothing ive ever seen before. They were hunting for the ball and for contact. Nearly 5 minutes after mcgrath pointed and tipp didnāt create one chance, which is hard to believe, we dominated. We are in way better shape than 2012 and 2005, still might not be good enough but we wont need a miracle to win, just a good performance.
