Now you’re just taking the piss.

I can see this ending in a draw as Galway wake up after their five week slumber.
Galway to win after a replay

I don’t agree. They have the same S&C coach as Tipp had last year and Tipp were perfectly conditioned physically, right up to peaking in September. The league and Leinster final would have meant fuck all to Galway as targets for this year. Wexford would have have been overtrained by Davy, as were his Clare teams over the past few years.

I haven’t heard one Galway supporter saying that it would be a cakewalk. Cautious optimism is as heady as it gets in Galway these days. Don’t mistake the national media narrative with what Galwegians are thinking.

Galway will be happy beat they don’t do finals well

Cocky fuckers.

This has the makings of a Galway style ambush by Tipp.

Tipp had their biggest test again a team that they had the bad manners to refuse a home draw - Westmeath. They then steamrolled over a pub team from Dublin before beating a Clare side whose management team couldn’t find their own arses with both hands and a mirror if they tried.

I just hope Galway can keep it pucked out to them and keep it below 20…

Well, the way I see it is galway are better than last year, and tipp are worse.

True.

Not since Wexford in 1997 have the reigning all Ireland champs being so expected to lose an all Ireland semi.

I’m only getting going Mike. I’ll be in the capital from friday and I’ll be upping the ante big style

Are you sure of that ? From my memory that game was seen as 50/50 ish .

You’re probably right to be honest. That wasn’t a great Tipp team. ''Twas patched together with a few auld stalwarts and some young bucks.

This spin or narrative is wearing a bit thin pal. Anyone reading this thread would suggest that Tipp are the raging favourites. All the neutrals are Tipping Chipp. Even @Joe_Player is firing the big bucks on ye. Have a small bit of courage and call it as you see it. I’d say you’d be the type for the sneaky belt when a lad would have his back turned, Eoin Kelly style.

Cough

Looking forward to see all the Galway boys crying into their chips in supermacs after the game. You could say it’s a little tradition of mine to call into Pat Mac’s place (he was there himself clearing tables after last year’s game) after we put an end to another Galway campaign. What’s another year buddy?

I have a feeling there will be a sending off Sunday . I think both sides will be highly strung and something may give . I don’t know who will be down a man .
