Iām the dense cunt?
If Brendan Maher drops back and marks Joe Canning, which is what @@Mullach_Ide suggested (who unlike you knows something about hurling), are you suggesting Tipp will leave Burke or Coen unmarked and play with one midfielder? That would be lovely if true, but aināt going to happen.
If our forwards considerably up their work rate from the League Final ( they will ) then the supply of easy ball to BIG Joe will disappear faster than his Supermacs Meals.
Mickey Cahill will wake up sunday morning around 3am with the pajamas stuck to him with sweatā¦ the pillow sopping. There will be a lonely desperate whimper heard around Thurles if anyone cares to listen. If any of ye see him at mass on Sunday, put an arm around him.
The Galway lads canāt help losing the run of themselves though. KK being out of the fold was enough to raise their dander. The League Final result was a serious performance but Tipp were off the pace.
Tipp on the other hand have improved from the Cork game offensively in a big way. The Full Back Line is a serious issue which is open to aggressive exposure this weekend. Unless Tipp can pressure the precision clearances off the GY defenders we could get a serious bating.
I think Tippās scope for improvement & Galways lack of game time levels this out nicely.
A master class of forward play by Tipp can see them home, if GY stop that happening then they should win by 5 + points.
