I agree. Waterford haven’t raised themselves to near the peak they hit last year yet. Completely agree that the sweeper system has a lifespan. Don’t even think De BĂșrca is that much of a loss, Fives or someone else will do the same job adequately. If De BĂșrca was playing an orthodox role he’d be more of a loss.

I’ve heard twice now that Gleeson’s clubmates told the manager they wanted him played full forward because all he will do is shoot from anywhere on the field anyway.
