Galway Vs Tipperary 2014

If Galway are really up for the fight we might get the match of the year.
I will go for a draw

Tipp will not lose this match.

Chipp think that won the AI tonight

Tonight was the first time in a couple of championships where Tipp fans have seen their team win a game.

Let them enjoy their big night, they deserve it

Fucking horrendous shite. As bad as kk 04 and waterford also in thurles a few years back. No game plan. Just hoofing long ball up. Its a tactic that lets players off without having to take any responsibility, just blast the ball away and youve done your job, all thats created is a 50/50 ball but sure if we lose that thats the man under the balls fault. Without johnny glynn and terrible tipp shooting the margin would have been 20 which is how far the teams are apart. We had nothing from play and got a few very soft frees, while yet again our backs dive in with wild pulls and mistimed shoulders giving away blatant frees, tipp tackled brilliantly. And midfield non existent, after two weeks of richie hogan having it easy no one copped on, waiting behind players for a soft ball instead. The end of Cunningham anyway back to the drawing board. Tipp have plenty of class even if they looked nervous, best to luck to them.

Who would be the likely successer to Cunningham? Mattie?

No sure who really wants it?

Might be time to see if Johnny Kelly has anything to offer.

Tony Considine

That was Kilkenny’s game plan for the guts of 10 years. Worked ok for them. Win your own ball…

It was more direct, and usually put into space, not dropping from a height

You’re over complicating it. A huge amount of high ball landed on Kilkenny forwards.

But it wasn’t the sole tactic. It was ours today.

Was there any reason given for the Brehony Burke double substitution at half time?

Also Smiths substitution… what was the reason?

Not implying anything here just wondering.

The shrude operating of Eugene cloonan.

I can’t believe Eugene Cloonan didn’t turn it around for Galway.
