That of course didn’t stop Ferguson intercepting the signing by Blackburn of Roy Keane, when he took him out to play snooker without even talking to Forest!
Not to mention his carry on with Berbatov in recent years.

I don’t think he would have to be honest . Italy was a bad move for him . It took a certain type to succeed back then in Italy .
Gazza would have been a huge success in Italy if it hadn’t been for the injury, he didn’t give a fuck. I’m looking forward to watching the documentary, a stone cold legend and I believe he was always immensely popular among the non playing or coaching staff at every club he played for, a sign of the man.

When Gazza was rooming with Chris Waddle he’d bring a dozen eggs with him. He’d be at the window waiting for a chance to drop eggs onto the heads of passers by.
A mad cunt but some of those pranks were great, I loved the one where he gave the physio his keys at Rangers and asked him to drive ahead to Edinburgh, then no sooner was he out the gate than Gazza rings the police to report the car stolen.
Ok guys let’s reign it in. Gazza was a badly advised simpleton that failed in Italy . He had demons which are understandable after the accident as a kid but it’s hard to have empathy for a man that beats his wife

I don’t think he had the temprement to succeed in Italy . The British and Irish players who furnished decent careers in Italy all learned the language and lived the culture , Brady , David Platt , Paul Elliott for example .
