Vincent absolutely obliterated that clown from FG Peter Fitzpatrick earlier, wiped the floor with him. Is this the same lad who was former Louth manager the time Meath fucked them over? Vincent really gunned for him but it was called for as you would not even know the guy was a TD. Total waste of space in there.
I see the Irish Independent have decided to call the SF complaint âan orchestrated campaign of intimidation against RTĂâ in their headline this morning.
Fionnan wrote the article. He managed to also make sure to point out that even when politicians have close ties to political candidates then there is no bias, as illustrated by a FF supporter on Twitter being unhappy with Miriam OâCallaghanâs line of questioning of Thomas Byrne. Not that Fionnan woukd have any vested interests in that regard of course.
I find it amusing how the very parties and outlets who circle the wagons and gang up on SF are first to cry foul when there is any sort of cohesive response from SF.
Donât blame the media. The real problem for the IRA is that they are a terrorist organization.
I heard that, it was quality radio
That quote is from a report of the 2011 election instead of this one? That report suggested SF and Labour were over-represented with FF and independents underrepresented.
Is this the second election in a row where SF whines they are not getting sufficient air-time on flimsy evidence?
A new poll in the Tir Chonaill Tribune this morning is showing a blow out for Fine Gael and points to MacLochlainn being in serious danger as Sinn Feinâs ârun three to get two inâ is suffering due to poor voter management. http://www.donegaldaily.com/2016/02/18/independents-at-all-time-high-fine-gael-on-a-low-in-tirconaill-tribune-poll/
The swing away from these two partys see the support going to FF who might now get two in and, more so, the Independents.
If either Sheils and Pringle get to the Finn Valley area and campaign to save the hopsitals in Stranorlar and Castlefinn weâll likely see 1 SF, 2 FF, 1 FG and 1 Independent (outside chance of a second Independent). Theyâre talking about bringing up Enda Kenny to try and save Danny McHughâs seat, if anything that would probably put him in even more danger.
@Sidney you might want to use this info for your projections.
Fianna Fail, Fine Gael and Labour all have their roots in the IRA.
Just done that smartvote.ie thing. Timmy Dooley is my ideal match
Iâd say you should stick to Tinder so
Heâd end up with the same match.
The quote is from today.
The article references 2011 figures to support the balance in 2016 (rather oddly) but the article is from today.
Do you recognize the Good Friday Agreement, pal?
Sinn FĂ©in donât have a history of intra party transfers because of running single candidates so itâs very hard to predict how their transfers will go. If they can keep it all among their 3 candidates then theyâll probably be fine. But Pringle is the big threat there because heâll be in the mix for SF transfers.
Fine gael. The paedophilia supporters party
Pringle is down due to the loss of some of his main support areas to the Sligo-North Leitrim.
Niamh Kennedy is also from his side of the constituency and will eat into his support as well.
The big issue for Sinn FĂ©in is the presence of Pat the Cope in the field as heâs likely to mop up a lot of Pearse Dohertyâs no2s - being from the same part of the county.
Did Fionnan mention his own orchestrated and very public campaign of intimidation against Vincent Browne, which Vincent and everybody watching got a tremendous laugh out of?
Gerry on The Sean OâRourke Show on RTE Radio now. Tune in Citizens.
Interesting on Pat The Cope.
Is this the scenario?
Doherty gets well over a quota while Pat needs & gets most of the surplus to make a quota, Sinn Fein lose out for further candidates as these votes will stay with Pat, as he will not be eliminated?
Yes.
Your vote is on only transferable once if I remember correctly.
When you go further into it from this level with transfer it starts to get more complicated. This is why Parliamentary partys only ever want you to vote for their candidates or coalition partners and then leave the rest of the ballot paper blank.
