Theyād be more the party for lads who book sick days in advance I suppose
Iām happy to pay that for a republican government you can trust.
If youāre taking a job in Galway - I presume the tax rate for self-employed people isnāt much of a concern.
Gerry on morning ireland oops
Heās 6/4 now. At this rate heāll be elected a couple of days before polling.
Itās not, but a marginal rate is and Iām glad that Sinn Fein want to keep the USC. I would love to be able to help build a better Ireland by contributing more tax because I can afford to.
Most people who say they are happy to pay it mean they are happy somebody else pays
Watercharges
No, Iām quite happy to increase my tax contribution for a republican government you can trust. I think youāre displaying a trait that was very common with the unionists in the 60s and 70s - look at them now.
I imagine this makes absolutely no difference. Iād say about 1% of listeners to sean o rourke would even consider voting sf.
Iāve being having a listen to Gerry Adamsā interview on the Irish Timesā Inside Politics podcast from last Saturday.
Itās a rare example of an interview with him in which the people asking the questions, in this case Hugh Linehan and Sarah Barden, actually listen to what he has to say and question him in an objective, fair manner, rather than shouting him down.
Gerry comes across very, very well in it.
Ah Iād tend to agree - just funny hearing him struggling again with the basic detail of his own policies after similar struggles last Sun on RTE and in the leaders debate.
I didnāt hear the Sean OāRourke interview earlier - but reading the transcript about the tax bit you could hardly say they are unreasonable questions. He was all over the place. I donāt think thatās a Sinn Fein thing, thatās a Gerry thing.
Every Irish broadcaster and hack are all giddy at the sight of being the one who can finally better Adams, the more he drops them the more and more obsessed and myopic they become.
Dooley Number 1
Donāt worry, this has made the evening news
There were even some young lads on this site that were thinking of voting for Sinn Fein, surely they have come around following this.
FF WILL THEY GET BACK???
The big issue for Gerry to get his head around is that the Brits are not bankrolling this country.
Itās all so much easier up North.
Thatās a clamping for tubridy
Was he talking about finding missing bodies or Finance?
Obviously Paddy Power are following TFK very closely.
