General Election 2016

I’m not sure what prompted the ever so slight swipe at you personally. Hmmmm. Really can’t think what it was. Merely pointed iut that your capitalist actions betray your supposedly socialist spoutings. The rest of your post is bollox as usual. I draw particular offence at your suggestion that I was taking the piss out of @Nembo_Kid. I was genuinely interested in whether he had registered in the free state.

SF want to remove individual incentives to achieve.

Who in their right mind supports that?

What type of person supports that?

The same people who support the disintegration of the family at all costs.

Who don’t want to get up and earn a living and believe they are entitled to be equal with everyone regardless of the effort they put into their working lives or lack of.

Fuck that.

I am fond of Gerry Adams and his work up North, but I’m not going voting for them.

Fine Gael are the ones looking to disincentivise work.

In order to pay for their tax cuts for the wealthy, they’re proposing to increase taxes on low-paid workers.

So I helped my father in law own a flat that had adequate heating for him and his family and I own the mortgage debt on the property according to the banks. Hands up to that. Line me up and pull the trigger.
However if you point to my property holdings as diluting any socialist credentials you suppose I claim, then beware that this type of allegation can be made against others also. Charlatan socialists who parade around Fingal giving it the big one on usc cuts then spend their time on Twitter denigrating people who have got off their holes and fought for this Republic, had better be thick skinned about their own cosseted family and property situations if they or their lackeys intend to continue flinging bricks.

They are lying about cutting out the USC, have you ever seen it on your payslip Sid?

Achievement @Sidney , not work. Generally if you are an achiever you will be a worker.

Understand?

Well they shouldn’t consume as much then? Seriously.

The uneducated, the underachievers, the useless, the lazy, those with nothing to contribute to society.

So what you’re saying is you support a decrease in economic activity, the resulting eroding of the tax base and the knock on effect of job losses for struggling small businesses.

So what you’re saying is you want to disincentivise work?

@HBV , stop engaging with you know who. He will enjoy wasting your time.

So what you’re saying is that on the subject of economic policy, Fine Gael, as well as not being able to add and subtract properly, are also lying, which makes them more trustworthy on the economy than Sinn Fein, who get their figures right?

Seriously.

Sinn Fein are anti self improvement.
They seem to want you to do less for yourself.
If you do less for yourself they will reward you financially.
If you try to improve yourself and your family they will punish you financially.

It’s bizarre.

Neither SF or FG are trustworthy, my point is the USC is here to stay regardless of whoever wins the election.

No. I want everyone to work.
I’d incentivise work by over hauling the welfare/handout system.

It seems you’re the one that’s anti-self improvement.

You want to disincentivise work with your voodoo economics.

You also want the wealthy to shirk their responsibilities to society.

A proper little Thatcherite, you are, aren’t you?

Yes, that’s true and we all know that.

However, you will spend the next few hours of your life trying to argue this with you know who.

So what you’re saying is: Fine Gael lies = economic competency?
