What a load of utter horseshit⌠Only 28,000 people were considered long term unemployed at the start of 2007, the height of the boom. The evidence is there to show that most unemployed people during the boom were on the way to getting a job or just left a job etc but worked. This bullshit about people being wasters scrounging off the state is a crock of shit that right wingers have used to cut payments for the most vulnerable in society⌠Most unemployed people want to work and youâre a disgusting cunt for the way you consistently sneer at the unemployed. I think the stat was only 1.2% of unemployed during the boom were long term, i.e over a year.
