Didn’t see any of the IRA/SF demographic out when I was voting early this morning. They wouldn’t be rolling out of bed until around midday.
Voting seemed very busy at my local station. Far busier than what I would usually see as part of the post work rush.
Sinn Fein’s surge has the FFG fossils in a right lather. They can’t work out whether their attack line will be to say SF supporters won’t be able to get out of bed until after midday, or whether they’ll say SF voters will all have their voting done before midday because of the lunchtime Premier League game.
Is there no 3pm EPL match on Premier Sports today?
There’s no 3pm game full stop
A great shame we dont have his musings on this election
It’s less of a travel for politicians
What do these areas usually get?
I think traditionally it was down in the 30s or 40s. A 55-60% turnout would be seen as very good.
Final turnout: Palmerstown 63%, Knockmitten 62.5%, Neilstown 60%, Rowlagh 57%, Quarryvale 55% #GE16
