You can’t work out if you’re defending her comments or not. The support services thing was a nonsense tool to allow her to chase the anti-immigrant vote which was made clear by all the words you didn’t bold, by her scaremongering comments about Wexford Bridge, by her absurd talk about 3 year olds.
Either ignorant or racist or both. She went down the apology route, implying the former. You seem to be defending her comments, and holding her up as an expert. Though she herself said “I had a poor understanding of asylum issues.”
I didn’t say that. I said you took it out of context. You then put it back into context and thought that was brilliant new information.
I’m finding fault with her comments that she apologised for. I’m finding fault with her knowledge of the asylum process when she herself says she has a poor understanding of that process.
I started off by saying she was either ignorant or racist. You seem to think she’s neither. She claimed ignorance. You don’t believe her. And you think she’s much more of an expert than she let on.
Not sure how you came to that conclusion but you’ve not really paid any attention to anything I said. Anyway we can leave it there. I hope your candidate’s ignorance and/or bigotry is not rewarded in February.
