Ah ok, I thought they were afraid Sinn Fein would legalise murder and go on a rampage post election. Bizarre behaviour to be focusing on a murder that took place in a different jurisdiction 13 years ago. Have they no policies they could put forward to encourage people to vote for them?

You would think with all the experience that they have in government that they would know what would encourage people to vote for them.

Mary Lou is a novice compared to Gerry.
The Party were never this popular nor a real threat to the establishment under Adams… they didnt have to dig as hard for mud with Gerry with him living and being involved in the troubles… they have to go harder to paint a much younger Dubliner in the same light.
It was water off a ducks back to Adams and he was definitely able to flip it to show that it was mere faux outrage from the people pedalling the agenda.

To be fair, it’s nothing that hasn’t been done before. Maria Cahill, Austin Stack, the McCartney’s - it’s all been done before. Adams was much better prepared for it.
