It’d take a miracle for them both to pass him. They won’t all be transferable anyway and Verona will get a good few too.

The main difference is that we have a third party and no right wingers in governement
in israel Lkud/Kahol-Lavan are much the same as FF/FG - progressive centerist
the obvious thing would be have a coaltion between the two but egos are getting in the way so instead likud are courting extreme right wing religious and nationalistic elements to get into power - these guys know they have netanyahu by the balls so the keep raising the stakes ( shabbat shutdown / non religious military service, settler progression etc) …
another difference is - those who vote likud in israel ( working class, dolers, welfare, simpletons etc who sign up because bibi beats the nationalistic drum very well like in 2015 " the arabs are on the way to the polls , we need change ") - this would be the SF vote base here-
however the stagnation is the same now

I couldn’t see Byrne & Kehoe getting, say, 3k ish each and both passing Browne. You might get Verona Murphy picking up a chunk of D’Arcy transfers from FG supporters too. It’ll be interesting alright though to see if D’Arcy’s transfers in respect of Kehoe and Byrne only go more along party or geographical lines.
