Bad for FG alright but possibly too early for FF. A lot of focus on them now and plenty of time - lots of questions about what policies they actually are proposing and also gives people a chance to seriously consider them as new gov. I’d say they’d have preferred to fly under the radar a bit more

Too early for a lead like that and plenty of time for it to change. The reality of FF back in power might spook some people now.
If SF can keep that it will be a good result.
FG have a few weeks to turn it around if they can. FF can only go down from there.

Never mind the health service or homelessness. Christ, 20% could be optimistic when you think of it.
20% would be catastrophic surely, similar to FF in 2011.
Maybe the country is ready for a Micheal Martin led government. A man of the people compared to Leo, has held a fair few portfolios and seems to have a humanitarian streak in him. It’s surely his turn.
If Martin is not Taoseach after Feb 8th, he wont be ff leader either
