I think the move to hysteria since the election is a tacit acknowledgment that the likes of O’Broin and Doherty comfortably outperformed their opponents and that was reflected by the vote.
They can’t win on debate, knowledge, policy, charisma so they’ve reverted back to shadowy figures and other bits of hearsay and side issues. As I say, Donnchadh O’Laoighaire is dealing with all that with poise tonight too.

SF could have got a lot of shit by shouting ‘change’ then willing to let either FG or FF back in government as coalition partners, Not now.
If this becomes a complete shit show then one of them, I’m guessing FF will get it in the neck.

This election has showed the mud slinging about the past is almost dried up. The ‘up the ra’ shite was probably a good thing, in a few years when the likes of that is thrown at the party people will be sick shit of it.
