10 would have been a good outcome from them. They’ll be delighted to get to 12. Eamon Ryan isn’t everyone’s favourite politician in the Greens because he can be a bit wishy-washy. But his “no offence” style did well in converting votes into seats because they’ve transferred very well. They are quite closely aligned to Soc Dems on a lot of issues so that’s a fairly powerful 18 seat bloc they have together if they decide to align more formally.
