Mallow Cork link is a brilliant service if you are close to both stations with home and work. 70 quid a month net of tax with the commuter ticket. Very underused but Cork being refocused to the docklands area should help

Cobh and Midleton trains are grand and handy as well.

The cie bus takes 1.55 from Cork to Limerick ffs. A whole 40 mins slower than a carā¦ And all the dirty smelly bastards getting on in Charleville/Buttevant/Mallow

There isnāt a hope in hell we invest in a speed railā¦ A country this size is perfectly set up for high speed rail looping Cork, Waterford, Dublin, Belfast, Derry, Galway, Limerick, Corkā¦and in reverseā¦ It takes 7/8 hours to get from Limerick to Waterford by train currentlyā¦

Nope, this PFG has 360m pa ringfenced for cycling and for every 1 euro spent on roads , 2 will be spent on public transport
