If this is the Cabinet, looking at a split of 6 Dublin, 3 Cork South Central Constituency, 2 Wicklow, 1 Meath, Kerry, Offaly & Monaghan.
Effectively 80% of the Cabinet from Cork South Central and the Greater Dublin area you could say with Donnelly and Harris both from the Northern end of Wicklow.
The South East and Connacht without a Minister.
Greens not doing a lot to expand their urban appeal with all three of their Ministerial slots Dublin based. Thought with Carlow/Kilkenny and Waterford both electing Greens, either Malcolm Noonan or Marc O’Cathsaigh would have had a sneak at a Ministry to expand their rural appeal.

Fine Gael will have some high profile and experienced backbench TDs to take some pressure off the cabinet. Will be interesting how the dynamics shift within two years.
Fianna Fáil have thrown themselves right in there with health and housing. Smart move on the latter I think.
No senior ministry for FF Deputy Leader Calleary? He went up against Martin on repeal but that must be a surprise. I’d say that Thomas Byrne chap is absolutely seething too.

Greens given climate change, arts/culture and children. They’ve been done badly. Have they any fucking moxy at all.
Thomas Byrne as Education spokesperson performed poorly during the Pandemic and if anything started the charge to call off the State exams. Joe McHugh’s abysmal performance took the focus off him somewhat.
