My stuff is good though

As well as mixing up the different Only Fools and Horses themes, his attempted political message is all over the place and makes no sense at all

In some lines it looks like he’s pushing a Solidarity type message and in others it looks like his message is straight out of the Tory manifesto

As long as you think so mate

7th February I’m hearing

:joy::joy::joy::joy:

They’d nearly have to go this week so?

Fine Gael are on damage limitation tonight, even an apology from teaboy Harris to the INMO.

I’ll have to go way now and decide what politician is the least incompetent to get my vote. A tough task

New Taoiseach first assignment will be to meet Trump!!

It’s a task facing alot of us.

While I agree to an extent, who or what would be any better. The system is broken.

Any chance he’ll make an offer for the HSE

Fine Gael would be insane to go to the country now

They’ve had terrible press lately

If martin can get dirty and start throwing mud at leo and his ministers he could do damage . Murphy Harris and Flanagan are sitting ducks. He should be going to town on them . Donohue is another gobshite

I think the question isn’t whether FF et al can throw dirt. The question is whether voters will think they can do a better job. Voters might decide change for changes sake after 9 years but I still think to get a decisive win FF will need to convince that they are capable. Martin comes across as a decent enough politician but there might be concerns about the depth chart

To be honest FG are fully capable of pissing on their chips and don’t need FF to hurt them

I think there’s an essential difference in hubris between the UK and Irish electorates

Leo Varadkar would play well with a Tory type audience who are naturally hubristic

But we don’t really have that type of electorate

Except when Fianna Fail are in government, oddly enough

Electorates have certain DNA built in and that DNA generally comes to the surface in election campaigns

The Irish electorate is Fianna Fail DNA and that DNA is going to make its presence felt

A Fianna Fail Taoiseach can point to “achievements” and the electorate will say “I’m voting Bertie/Charlie etc.”

Kenny does the same thing and they pillory him and accuse him of being out of touch

The same will happen to Varadkar

It comes back to the perception of who is the natural party of government

In this country Fianna Fail is perceived as such, in Britain it’s the Tories

Different parties, different rules

And once FF are back in, that’s it for Fine Gael for a generation

What world do you live in? It’s all about the mud slinging
