Not just a rural issue to be fair. I’ve heard of local places here been threatened having their licence withdrawn as their checks weren’t stringent enough
The whole point of crowd control is to eliminate the possibility that any pushing or tripping can lead to catastrophe.
You keep missing that.
The responsibility for this is squarely on those whose task it was to organise crowd control. Their personal responsibility.
That’s the long, the short and the end of it.
I.suppose the smart move is to use a security company rather than employing door staff.
Only so much a venue can do. I was visiting someone over Christmas, he had been just back from a 30 mile round trip with his 16 year old daughter who was collecting a drivers licence ID from a 19 year old who looked a lot like her so she could get into a niteclub later. What is a doorman to do when she shows up on a busy night? I don’t know anything about this tragic case but I wouldn’t immediately point the finger at organisers just because underage teenagers were present.
Because it was on Things That Are Wrong too. But better here anyway so I’ll undelete.
Some amount of ATM machines being robbed all over the province .

You would think that it’s not beyond the limits of science to put a tracking device on every atm in Ulster.
All that is -a challenge

Another four ATMs robbed overnight. Two on each side of the border.
The shades are fucking useless.
The lads in Kells had placed spikes outside the local Garda Station to try and delay the Gardai response time
