I remember the first ATM that got ripped out in Castleblayney Co. Monaghan, this would be a year or two ago now, can’t quite remember when, they timed it during a big retirement party for the Gardaí, so all the cops were at that and there was no response. The locals reckoned it was an inside job from the cops that helped them time it.
Could they not put a GPS tracker in the ATM
Thieves have a quick way of dealing with gps trackers. If they’re robbing a trailer with one they give the frame a jab of a welder, which blows them to shit, wherever they’re hidden on it.

It’s gas tbf. It would take the guts of 3 minutes to track up the street from one atm to the other, never-mind the time it would take to bust the machine out and get it loaded.
Guards are a laughing stock.
The Garda station in Kells is 2 mins from the main street. Whatever about narrowly missing them if they high tailed it after doing the first, the gang being able to do two undisturbed is outrageous.
The balls on the Super from Kells here on the news & no sign of his crew.

The digger was stolen the night before. Surely that was reported. How much would an average ATM hold overnight?
