I just watched the post match discussion there for the first time. Ger Lough pretty much stuck it to the Cork players and said to date they have shown no bottle and questioned, like Tipp, whether they have any at all. I believe Tom Ryan called this last year also when he called them bottlers (Can someone dig out the article?). Do this team lack fight? I’d love to see them go on and beat KK but KK will murder them when it comes to physicality and winning dirty ball.
I reckon Cork will beat Kilkenny if Horgan wins the appeal. They could/should have been well ahead at half time, the sending off obviously crucified them late on.
JBM is a legend, O’hAilpin will probably wade in and slaughter him again but I certainly wouldn’t write them off. Too many good players in that team. Missing Sweetnam, Murphy, Paudie O’Sullivan, Cahalane, Aidan Walsh and Ciaran Sheehan has to have an effect though.

I’m not writing them off at all. I’ve stated my like for them many times and hope they win. Cyril and Liam agreed with Ger that they have no bottle, now you’d wonder is the bold Ger trying to gee them up in his own way, but when Tom Ryan calls them bottlers you have to take notice.

Cork wouldn’t have a hope in hell of beating Kilkenny I would say.
How so? If poor Tipp and Waterford teams can put it up to them surely Cork can? Cork’s running game was great to watch at times Sunday, if they can bring this on another level KK can be got at.
I don’t think they are poor Waterford or Tipp teams and I think they would both beat Cork. I think with this Cork team and their lack of physicality, they would be least suited to put it up to Kilkenny.
By lack of physicality, are you agreesing with Ger an co and saying cork have no bottle?
If Cork run like fuck at Kk they have a chance, provided they get a referee that blows fouls.
No. I just don’t think they have 20 top class hurlers at the moment. Saying teams have no bottle is as big an insult as you can throw at a team and I think that Cork showed against Clare that they have bottle but showed against Limerick that they don’t have the panel of players to challenge for the top prizes at the moment.
Barry Kelly is reffing it I believe.

Stop being so objective you miserable cunt.
Kilkenny scored 1-12 in 70 minutes against Waterford. Without Shefflin they lose some of their aura. They’ll still take beating but Cork are not far off, despite losing on Sunday.
I spent Sunday shitting and vomiting for about 12 hours while you were out drinking and celebrating-I reserve the right to be miserable today you horrible shitcunt.
Jesus horse, you won’t get away with reasoning like that around here. Fucking hell man, pull your head in.

Kilkenny have scored one goal from open play in this years championship.
Same as Limerick.
In fact someone do an analysis there. It seems to me there are far less goals in this years championship?

The highest goal tally in any one game was 4 by Offaly, against Kilkenny.

Limerick have played two games. Kilkenny have now played 5.
