Getting Back in the Game/you'd want your head examined to referee a ladies football match

Who is we, mate?

Croom in the cup this weekend. They beat us just last week 2-0 in the league. They are easily the best team in the division and it is going to be a tough game… especially seeing as-
We’ve lost our two strikers to injury in that game. Centre half to viral infection. Third striker/attacker to discipline problems and our star winger is away this weekend. I myself haven’t ran in 6/7 weeks due to injury and still have the effects of Christmas yet to blow away and I imagine i’ll be thrown straight back in we are so short in numbers.

It’s going to be a proper David and Goliath affair… if we win this it will be right up there with Wimbledon in '88.

@TreatyStones - @caoimhaoin - @count of monte cristo and any other sports playing enthusiasts- What can one do/ drink/take to get them through 90s after being out for a n extended period.

Injury related break or are you just a lazy bastard?

I find the Kinetica Gels good for focus and concentration. There is powerbar caffine jellies you can get in Limerick sports store. They are pretty good to keep you going and easy on stomach. One before the game and another one at half time.

Injury - as stated in the post above. I’ll be good to go for Sunday and i’ll be stretching intensely between now and then. It’s the lungs i’m more worried about.

Lucozade sport seems to have spectacular benefits judging by a documentary/tv ad I saw.

A couple of short sprints wouldn’t go astray today, nothing more than a long warm up but it will give you an extra few minutes of gas if you are coming in fresh.

I did that an hour ago - Chest was burning- Did 8 lenghts whereby I jogged to half way and stretched it out to the end, repeat on the way back.
5 x stretch it out for full length and walked back to top
5 x shorts sprints - out to cone one and back- out to cone two and back.

I’m looking for drugs lads.

Not much else to do so but get some coke and rub it into your eyeballs.

@The Big Cheese rubbed coke into his knob one night when banging a young wan over in Tanland. Said he was at it all night… Might give it a go. Not my knob, but general ingestation.

It’s apparently getting popular in the odd gym and those lads know what they are at

Leeds is a heck of a city and that was a heck of a night out

I was talking to a young French lady yesterday who had spent 6 months there… loved the place.I thought was was off her head but maybe not now…

Why, would you like to get a coke dusted knob battered up you for an hour and half?

I thought thats because he thought that’s how its supposed to be taken

I did not use any coke on the night in question, internally or externally, the second part of his statement is accurate though

H’up she flew !

Nothing. Take yourself off at 60-70 mins the first game. See how your going after that, but maybe 70-80 the next game.
