Gigs coming up

Spitting Games is a daycent tune in fairness. Snow Patrol arenā€™t the worst. I may even willingly go to a gig of theirs at some point.

I like my fair share of bland (e.g. a couple of Keane and Coldplay songs) but there is something about Snow Patrol I particularly dislike. It may be that they think they are deadly or I may have just made that up.

Madness tonight! :pint:

Going back to @TheUlteriorMotive original question what is the best plan post Cure gig to avoid walking miles or queuing for 2 days for a dart? I am looking to get back to Marino but am willing to drink pints in Malahide after the gig

Iā€™m sure @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy will have a suggestion like St Sylvesterā€™s clubhouse which is near the dart and is full of good hurling men.

when is this bro?

Saturday week 8th june

2 cheap tickets for Madness tonight if anyone interested

@Fagan_ODowd are you going to Daytrippers at all?

Iā€™m not. The lineup wouldnā€™t really appeal to me.

Bit disappointed not to be going to any of forbidden fruit this weekend. Canā€™t have it all I suppose.

The cricket club

This was shocking. Band not too bad but worst logistics I have seen at a gig. About 40 urinals at a gig for 20,000 people. Left early

In McGowans in Drumcondra. Great spot at this hour.

@Fagan_ODowd we tried to tell him

I am big enough to accept that.

Secured our tickets to U2 in Sydney in November, the Joshua Tree thingy. Very much looking forward to it. Thankfully they wonā€™t have that waste of space cunt Kanye supporting them, instead this time with the light relief of Noel Gallagher and whatever he calls his outfit these days.

In town for a bite before I make my way North to Malahide for Snow Patrol. Iā€™ll skip the Kooks and time my arrival for the headline. Weather is brightening up

Just Say Yes

You mean Phibsboro?

Iā€™ve got backstage tickets for Muse tomorrow night. Iā€™ve heard of them but canā€™t remember any of their songs. Is it worth the hassle?
