Gigs coming up

I’d nearly go in just to hear ‘She moves in her own way’, an outstanding pop song.

I saw Ride in Limerick last night, good gig, pity it was on a school night

Nope it’s not. They’re shite

As a bombastic arena rock band they were decent about 15 years ago, their studio output however in the past decade has reduced to near garbage level in an effort to be relevant. They are excellent musicians, Bellamy in particular. Had a quick look at their recent set lists and there’s a fair mixture of old and new. If you haven’t seen them live, it’s quite the spectacle.

If you’re very impressed by flashing lights, go for it.

Sadly I am.
It’s in a shitey stadium in a shitey part of a shitey city is all.

They were in limerick ? How did I miss this !

I saw them a few years back and I didn’t care for them, but all the people I was with really liked them and were particularly raving about the lightshow. So if you are into that, I’d go if you have the tickets already.

I’m at a time of life where I think I should avail of these things when presented the opportunity

You’re at a time in your life when you’ll be happier at home in bed
Muse are fairly shit

I’d certainly rather go for a couple of pints.

I guarantee if you have a rake of pints before and during you will enjoy them. Acid would also help.

I never liked Matt Bellamy’s voice but I went to Muse in Marlay Park years ago and fuck me they do know their way around a few auld lights.

Snow Patrol great show. Malahide is a super venue.

Off to The Cure tonight. I always preferred The Prevention.

Is Malahide not just a mini-Slane in terms of getting out of it afterwards

I’ve never been to to a concert there

I’ve sort of toyed with the idea of going to this for months but never bothered getting a ticket

Never seen The Cure live

Setlists from recent concerts look amazing

I like the kooks

Just watching Sade live on YouTube… I’ve The Cure and The Clash lined up to watch over the coming days, should be great gigs.

The Clash are playing at the SFX after Dublin v Kildare tomorrow

No, it’s a great spot for a concert. Was there for LCD soundsystem and gorillaz last year.

You’d get one for face value on viagogo. They are due on at 8.15 and will play for over two hours tonight.

Dart over and back. We left last night as Snow Patrol came on for encore and were back in town in 30 minutes.

Venue was great. Lots of food and bars and toilets and easy in and out.

If you come out of the venue and turn left there’s buses going into town out on for the concert. Or there were last year. Less crowds and as fast as the dart. Great job.
